主讲人1: Hans C. Boas教授、博士
一、Hans C. Boas教授简介
Hans C. Boas is a world famous cognitive linguist from the University of Texas, Austin. He is a professor for Germanic Linguistics in the Department of Germanic Studies and the Department of Linguistics at the University of Texas at Austin. Before coming to Austin, he was a postdoctoral researcher with the FrameNet project at the International Computer Science Institute and a research fellow in the Department of Linguistics at the University of California at Berkeley, funded by the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (‘German Academic Exchange Service’). Prior to that, he studied law and linguistics at the Georg-August- Universität Göttingen, Germany. He received both his M.A. (thesis: The Passive in German) and his Ph.D. (dissertation: Resultative Constructions in English and German) in the Linguistics Department at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

主讲人2Zoltán Kövecses教授、博士
一、Zoltán Kövecses教授简介
Zoltán Kövecses received his M.A. from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, in 1972 and his Ph.D. and D.Sc. from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 1988 and 1996, respectively. He is Professor of Linguistics in the Department of American Studies at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest.He is one of the four editors of the international scholarly journal, Metaphor and Symbol, published by Lawrence Erlbaum Publishers in the U.S. He also serves on the advisory board of Cognitive Linguistics and several other international professional journals. He has lectured widely as an invited plenary speaker at various international conferences. He has received several scholarships from the Fulbright Foundation, the American Council of Learned Societies, and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

主讲人3:Dilin Liu教授、博士
一、Dilin Liu教授简介
Dr. Dilin Liu is Professor and Coordinator of the Applied Linguistics/TESOL program in the English Department at the University of Alabama, U.S.A. His research focuses on the description and teaching of English grammar and vocabulary using cognitive- and corpus-linguistic approaches. He has published extensively, including six books (five authored and one edited) and numerous journal articles and book chapters. His recent books include Using corpora for language learning and teaching (TESOL Press, 2017), Description and instruction of lexis and grammar: Research studies and teaching practices guided by contemporary linguistic theories (an invited book in Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press’s “世界知名TESOL专家论纵 series, 2017), and Describing and explaining grammar and vocabulary in ELT: Key theories and effective practices (Routledge, 2014).He has served on the editorial boards of ELT Journal, TESOL Quarterly, TESOL Journal, among others, as well as a reviewer for over twenty international journals and book publishers.
