The Research Center for Cognitive Linguistic and Brain Sciences (RCCLBS) is a specialist research center. Its central objective is to foster interaction and collaboration among all those working on linguistics, philosophy, psychology, anthropology, artificial intelligence, computer science, education, logic, and neuroscience, etc., to promote the multi-disciplinary field of Cognitive Linguistics,and to develop interdisciplinary investigation into the nature of language and cognition. The director of the Centre is Professor Wen Xu, dean of School of Foreign Languages, Southwest University.
